What are the Nintendo Dsi Features? |
|
When the NINTENDO DSi was released in 2009, it left many DS gamers asking what new features were being brought on board. Most especially those already owning a Nintendo DS Lite (the second version), the difference in features and gaming experience was one many were willing to trade if not convinced. When Nintendo decided to come up with the Dsi, they focused their attention on creating a new gaming console that would personalize the gaming experience for each user. Private research and studies show that the Nintendo DS is shared amongst various members of the household even when different games are preferred by each individual. This meant a smaller number of units per household and more room for product sales from Nintendo’s point of view. As a result the Nintendo Engineering Team was directed to focus on creating a console that personalized the gaming experience as much as possible. Compared to its nearest brother in the DS lineup, the Dsi features a larger screen measuring 3.25 inches compared to the 3 inches on the DS Lite. Features at a Glance · Nintendo Dsi Shop · Larger Screen (at 3.25”) · Wireless 802.11b/g Connectivity · Twin Cameras · 840 mAh internal rechargeable battery · 16 MB of RAM · 256 MB of internal flash memory · Two ARM architecture CPUs · SD Card Support The NINTENDO DSi possesses interesting specifications as listed above. It also features a tiny and lightweight body frame attributed to the absence of a Game Boy Advance port. This means the Dsi isn’t backward compatible with previous Game Boy catridges. However, users still have lots to enjoy with a personalized experience. With the SD card users can put in a memory card to save game data, upload pictures and songs to their facebook profile, take pictures on the device and save them to the SD card, play music and perform numerous tasks.
